🌟 THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIVING AND JUST FUNTIONING

Good morning, dear reader;

There comes a moment when you realize you haven’t truly lived in a long time.

You’ve worked, answered messages, helped everyone, kept everything together, but inside, something feels numb.

Mechanical.

Muted.

That’s the difference between functioning and living: one keeps you moving, the other keeps you alive.

Functioning feels like: waking up tired no matter how much you sleep, going through routines without presence, saying “I’m fine” even when you feel empty, doing what’s expected instead of what you need, surviving on autopilot, filling your days but not your heart.

Functioning is the minimum.

It’s the survival mode.

It’s where you go when life feels heavy or when your soul is overwhelmed.

Living, in contrast, feels like: breathing deeper without forcing it, feeling moments instead of rushing through them, noticing small joys your mind once overlooked, choosing with intention, not with fear, giving space to what matters and letting go of what drags you down, being present in your own life.

Living is when your heart participates.

Functioning is when your body shows up, but you don’t.

The shift begins quietly:

When you choose rest over pressure.

When you allow yourself to feel.

When you say no without guilt.

When you reconnect with your inner voice after aΓ±os de silencio.

Living doesn’t require big changes; it requires tiny acts of truth.

Small moments where you return to yourself.

Moments where your life stops being una obligaciΓ³n and becomes again a camino sentido.

You deserve more than functioning.

You deserve to inhabit your life, to feel it, to taste it, to belong to it.

Because you were never meant to survive your days — you were meant to live them.

Receive a hug from the heart and remember to share.
