🤰 DURING PREGNANCY

 Good morning, dear reader; today I want to talk to you about what happens during pregnancy...

The baby’s cells migrate into the mother’s bloodstream and then return to the baby. This is called “fetal-maternal microchimerism.”

For approximately 41 weeks, these cells fuse and circulate back and forth, and after the baby is born, many of these cells remain in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent mark on her tissues, bones, brain, and skin—and often can stay there for decades.

Each child a mother has afterwards will also leave a similar mark on her body. Even in the case of pregnancy loss, these cells still migrate into the bloodstream.

Research has shown that if a mother’s heart is injured, fetal cells rush to the site of the injury and transform into different types of cells specialized in repairing the heart. The baby helps heal the mother, while the mother builds the baby. Isn’t that amazing?

Often, this is why certain illnesses disappear during pregnancy.

It is astonishing how the mother’s body protects the baby at all costs, and the baby protects and heals the mother, so the baby can develop safely and survive.

In some studies, fetal cells have been found in a mother’s brain 18 years after giving birth.

If you are a mother, you know how you can intuitively feel your child even when they are not nearby... well, now there is scientific evidence that mothers can feel their children for years and years even after giving birth.
