🪱THE WORM AND THE BEETLE🪲

Good morning, dear reader. In today's article, I want to share the following story with you...

THE WORM AND THE BEETLE

A story we should never forget...

The Worm and the Beetle were friends.

True friends.

They would talk for hours, even though they lived in different worlds.

The beetle was fast, loud, and looked strong.

The worm was slow, quiet, and fragile.

But that had never been a problem...

Until someone made it seem like one.

One day, the beetle’s partner asked:

—“How can you be friends with someone so inferior?”

—“He doesn’t even greet you from afar…”

The beetle knew the worm couldn’t see from a distance.

He knew it was hard for him to move.

But instead of defending him… he stayed silent.

His partner insisted so much that the beetle decided to distance himself.

—"If he really cares, he’ll come find me..." —he thought.

And yes… the worm came.

Every day.

Slowly. In pain. Exposed.

Passing bird nests.

Surviving ant attacks.

But he never found him.

And every night, he dragged himself back home, exhausted.

Until one day… he didn’t return.

The news spread: the worm was dying.

His body couldn’t take it anymore.

When the beetle heard, he rushed there without saying a word.

And when he arrived, he found the worm at the foot of a tree…

Waiting for the end.

With a thread of life left, the worm smiled and said:

—“I’m glad you’re okay… I was worried something had happened to you.”

And he left… in peace.

Knowing his friend was safe.

The beetle stood in silence.

Crying.

Regretting letting doubts cloud his heart.

Regretting not listening to it.

That day, he learned what he should never have forgotten:

🔹 True friendship doesn’t care about shapes, speeds, or appearances.

🔹 What destroys a relationship isn’t distance… it’s doubt.

🔹 Those who judge what’s different miss the chance to love something unique.

The beetle died sometime later.

He never blamed anyone.

Because he understood: it was his choice to walk away.

I don’t know if you’re the worm or the beetle.

But if this story touched you…

Don’t let anyone separate you from someone who loves you.

💬 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

💬 “A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”

Sending you a hug from the heart — and don’t forget to share it.
